Youth Take Charge Funding Program

Heritage Canada’s Youth Take Charge Program is now accepting applications for projects taking place between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017.  Applications for funding for multi-year projects can also be submitted.

This is a great funding program that helps organizations that serve youth to implement projects that support:

  • History and heritage
  • Civic engagement and youth services
  • Arts and culture
  • Economic activities

As you can see, this program can support a wide variety of projects, however priority will be given to those projects that will be promoting Canadian history and heritage.

If you’re interested, contact a project officer about the funding application with an idea of a project you would like to have funded. Try and build a rapport with the program officer and try to work with him or her to develop a good application.
